Welcome

Message from Your Chair

Dear Colleague:

I am pleased to invite you to the 2006 China IT Summit taking place Nov 2-3, 2006 at the Hotel of Pennsylvania, New York.

Our program this year focuses on the fundamental approaches institutionally related US companies adopt Chinese IT Service. Why outsourcing IT process to China is the hot topic now. We need to focus on How to leverage Chinese IT service today. China IT Service is playing an increasingly important role in generating revenue for US companies and their practices are becoming more subject to public scrutiny. Do you have a plan to leverage IT service from China yet? How can you plan for and manage the plan? How can you position and manage your China IT service plan to maximize performance during turbulent market periods? How can you engage and energize Chinese service providers? Should you consider outsourcing operations? And how can you best manage risk? These are just some of the topics we will be addressing.

The China IT Summit provides a unique opportunity to meet with colleagues and company CEOs, CFOs, COOs, China IT decision markers, and Chinese IT CEOs. In addition to formal presentations, the program also includes hours of breakout meetings with colleagues from peer institutions and plenty of opportunity for informal networking during breaks, meals, and social events in a beautiful setting.

I hope you will be able to join us and welcome your suggestions as we finalize the agenda.

With best regards,
